St. Francis Medical Center is a newly renovated Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC. The main focus of SFMC Emergency Department is the patients and their experience when utilizing the space. The interaction between nurses and doctors with the people needing their help is vital. By allowing spacious and highly organized exam rooms surrounding a centralized nurses station emphasizes the necessity of having easy access and visualization of each patient. Through soothing blue and green colors and clean geometric lines, patients - and their families - are allowed to feel at ease in their time of need. Patients are the main focus at St. Francis and all aspects of the departments hone in on that priority.
