NEXT University's cutting-edge higher education learning institution. In order to increase their reach into a large urban population, heir hope is to build a small-scale extension called the NEXT HUB. In the heart of DC's East End/Penn Quarter neighborhood. The HUB would be a gathering place for students enrolled in online coursework to connect with others, for adult learners with small children to further their education without the worry of childcare, and for people currently in the workforce to gain additional knowledge, skills and certifications to continuously up-skill and stay relevant in the job market. As a focal point in the space, a multi-level stair case with lounging nooks develops the goals of NEXT University showing the importance to always stay grounded while simultaneously growing and reaching new heights to gain a higher perspective.
